Props to anyone who gets the reference of the title the first time they read it! =] To those who didn't. You guys have to watch this, specially if you're a Twilighter. Hah! Note: Twilight Movie Spoilers.
So yesssss, a post dedicated to the one of the most awesome fictional characters ever made, Edward Anthony Masen Cullen. Yep! If you had doubts before if I am a dorkette or nerdette (lol, make up words, make up words!) now you don't need to doubt anymore because I just verfied it by making an obligatory HAPPY BIRTHDAY post for a fictional character. To be fair, he's a very awesome fictional character though!

MTV's Twilight Tuesday Video was about the Cullen Crest. As everyone was scrambling to find out everything they could about the crest, Priscillaxcullen of the Twilight Lexicon found who created the jewelry.

I read this book after a long bout of not being able to commit to one title. This is also why I am SOOO behind on my goal of reading one book a week for a year. I was not inspired, as I am now. I guess all I needed was another Young Adult Vampire series to get me going.
The House of Night series takes a different approach to vampirism than the other books I have read lately. First, people know there are vampires. They are educated in special schools but are not dreaded or feared they way they are normally portrayed. They don't really live amongst humans but live more normal lives. There are famous vampires, Johnny Depp, for example and many other pop culture references are made throughout the book which made it fun and current.
I appreciated the main characters challenges with her family and difficult adjustments to start a new life and leave her old on behind. Being more powerful than the average vamp adds extra stresses and pressure on Zoey, but she proves capable. Normal teen girl issues such as boys, mean girls, and "early development" are even that much more difficult to face while you are making the change from human to vampire and students are dropping dead around you, because of their inability to make the change.
A little more trashy, real, funny and gruesome than the Twilight Saga, and a nice series to read while waiting for Breaking Dawn.
Recommended for anyone who is newly intrigued by vampires, such as myself, or anyone looking for a funny easy series to dive into. I would say it is appropriate for girls 14+ because there is some suggestive content. .

At the House of Night, Zoey finds true friendship, loyalty, and romance as well as mistrust and deception. She realizes that all is not right in the vampyre world and that the problems she thought she left behind exist there as well. Readers will identify with many of the characters, especially the protagonist. The story moves quickly (a little too quickly at the end) and purposely leaves many unresolved issues. omg the guy whose playing edward in the movie...is not great for the part. I swear its all wrong. When my friend showed me that guy from the harry potter movie was playing edward, i was like no no no. Don't you agree with me that it shouldve been someone else more perfect for the part? hey i tell u who i think should play the part even though its highly impossible. Check out my videos under the blog..and watch "the kill". That guy dressed all in black with the wedding suit aka jared leto is the perfect edward. Also, the girl who plays bBella, She just looks too pretty to be Bella. Hell, she looks a whole lot better than Edward, and thats sad! But hey, thats my opinion. By the way :D im new. I luv it!! It's going to be fantastic I know it. You even get a glimpse of Jasper's hair and it no longer looks cheesy to me! I made my t-shirt I'm wearing to see SM on Thursday, today. It has the Twilight book cover on the right sleeve, the Eclipse book cover on the left sleeve & the New Moon book cover in the middle. I can't wait til Thursday!!
